When life kicks you in the butt...

Sometimes you just have to drop to the ground, curl up into a little ball, suck your thumb and moan piteously.

That's me. I'm overwhelmed in a tidal wave of work and I can't swim! First week of class and still revising is not a good combination - plus I am involved heavily in a project that I am so excited about but which is also taking every other minute of my time. So something is suffering, besides my health - and it is this blog and visiting all my favorite blog places. I am sorry and miss you all! But I hope to recover from my ass whooping real soon. In the meantime, may I leave you with an interesting video clip?

I stole this from Angry Asian Man's blog. It is comedian Danny Cho's impersonation of North Korea's infamous Kim Jong Il. He has the Ploo...

I know how it goes El. Sometimes you've just gotta pull back and deal with life stuff. Hope the stresses ease soon.

"It's not a rumor." Funny and chilling at the same time.

Miss YOU too, Ello, and I'm anxious to grant your wishes!

Yep, I know the feeling Ello, sometimes something has to take a backseat and blogging is a good one to do so - it can be too draining and too demanding on top of everything else.

As for that clip, it's kinda scary.

Good luck with everything!

Hang in there...I am so with you. Do not think there is much more I could handle at the moment...

Can't wait to write with you and Lisa in February. Wish that I could do so sooner...I so need it.

I am SO there with you, sistah!

I'm transitioning between jobs, so I have two at the moment and all the other stuff you said. If you hear gurgling, that's just me...drowning.... I'm going to look into that butt-kickin' thingy...soon...

Sometimes life throws us shoes - we just have to catch them and share them with others to look like the nice guy. :D That video was hilarious. Hopefully you'll find some time soon just so you can rest and catch your breath.

Loved the clip by the way.

That clip is scary funny. Scary because he hits at such poignant issues and funny because he makes them so absurd. I really enjoyed it.

Hope you get through your tidal wave of work soon. Treat yourself to a massage at least once a week. It works wonders for stress!

Hey, but you can't deny that those revisions are freaking awesome. Not just awesome. Freaking awesome. :)

I hope your life gets easier soon.

Love Danny Cho -- his Kim Jung Il is eerily close to the real guy. I love the South Park cartoon of him, too, singing "I'm wonely, so wonely." I really hope Kim Jung Il's seen it too.

Oh sure . . . let's feel badly for Ello.

But what of Da' Man!?!?

Surely there must be someone who can take pity on his current lot in life.

Are there no others who have endured the rantings of a writer in the midst of revisions?

must . . . warn captain . . . save ship . . .
